I love that love is the most meaningful experience in life. Love doesn't care how much wealth you acquire, the flaws you possess, or even the differences between individuals. The heart controls your feelings. I love that love has a mind of its own and your head doesn't stand a chance against it.
I love that it is warm and that someone's mere presence can make you feel at home. What about when your person's hug becomes your safe haven, and a kiss on the forehead lets you know that everything is going to be okay, and their eyes say I love you?
I love that love influences the way you feel about yourself and that these rare relationships bring out our greatest strengths and expose our deepest fears. The best relationships actually use those triggers to help us grow into our best selves. Love is both scary and healing at the same time.
I love that it requires our most remarkable qualities such as faith, trust, and patience, and can only exist with kindness, compassion, attention, selflessness, and perseverance. I especially love how caring deeply and passionately makes you feel alive.
That's my real truth about love...
The purpose of this blog is to create a safe community of shared experiences as they pertain to love. My hope is that you are willing to share your real love stories with our audience, inspiring hope and perseverance. Stories that encourage people to stay true to their hearts and wait for their person.
I envision a flood of inspiring stories that I can choose from to post for our readers every Tuesday and Thursday.
Readers can also email me with questions regarding their relationships and I will respond or pose the question to our readers for feedback. Please know that I get that even the best love isn't all sunshine and rainbows. It has to survive challenges and insecurities and the stresses of everyday life.
I understand firsthand that the wrong love can be tricky, and even feel manipulative. I think we have all had imposters in our life that posed as the real thing and we were wrong. I've made the same mistakes, where someone so blatantly showed me who they were and I didn't want to believe it. The story in my head was always better, safer. I remember the day that I realized that this person studied me and learned exactly what I needed to hear so I would stay close, but their actions told the truth. Yet, I still desperately wanted to shield myself and believe the lie. I've mourned that loss and cried those tears. I know...unfortunately, I've been there too.
But, although I sympathize with you, I still don't want it to weaken you or doubt that real love is on its way. God, spirit, or our inner guidance (whatever your beliefs are) uses that to strengthen us. Don't miss the lesson and get stuck in that space. It's someone else's karma, not yours so don't own it with them.
I always think to myself, God isn't that mean, right? He's been pretty great to me and blessed my life with so much. I can only conclude that he has someone amazing waiting for me. But, I will say that even on my darkest day, I still had hope that the stories with the happy endings, do exist.
Thank you in advance for being part of this journey to bring more love and humanity into the world.

Life doesn't follow a straight line, it's a journey filled with lefts, and rights, and U-turns. Don't give up when the road gets rough, keep driving and remain hopeful that you will arrive at the right place at the right time.
